Jeremy Paris

Vets On Sets Lead / IT Lead
Jeremy was born in Buffalo, NY and joined the Army at age 17 immediately after graduating from high school. During his 10 years in the Army, which brought him to Oklahoma, Alaska, and Maryland, Jeremy learned many skills as a Personnel Management Specialist, and a Training Sergeant. Jeremy left the Army to follow a career as a DoD contractor. It only took two years before the entrepreneurial bug bit him and he teamed up with two peers and started his own company, Diverse Concepts, Inc. While the company was successful, it wasn't fulfilling his creative needs. His friend Josh Davidson told him that he should go with him to be an extra for a zombie film in the area. Not expecting much, he went and ended up getting lines and put on the opening credits. Jeremy fell in love with acting before even leaving the set. After taking an acting class and acting in a few more films Jeremy and Josh decided to start Be More Films and start producing their own films. Jeremy was introduced to BR McDonald through Josh and started to follow what BR was doing with VAP, offering to help when time permitted. Jeremy was invited to help out with the Vets On Sets project which aims to help Veterans reach their goals of working on film sets in just about any capacity. Having experience in web design, Content Management Systems, and an outside-the-box mindset, Jeremy is helping to shape the future of VOS.
